Professional, Communicative, Solid Work, Reasonable Pricing
Adam recently worked on my 67′ Westy. It took a while to get in because he is so busy but he communicated the wait time clearly. When he got to work on the bus (new axle seal, brake adjustment, and welding in a new battery tray) the work was quick, clean and good. The bus was in and out in 2 days – important as this is my daily driver.
He was in contact with me about each aspect of the work and managed expectations well. In particular with the battery tray, Adam wanted to communicate what to expect it to look like on the outside when done (grey primer after grinding welds smooth). The actual outcome was smooth and clean and as described.
When it was time to pay it was a better deal than any other place I’ve taken my bus in town. He was also flexible about pick up, allowing my wife to bring money and pick up the key enabling me to come pick up the bus later that night.
Adam is absolutely awesome – best VW mechanic we’ve found on the West Coast. We have a 1977 CampMobile that was sitting in my brother’s back yard for 6 years, and Adam was able to thoroughly go through everything, solidly replace what needed replacing, and not gouge us. He’s a craftsman and takes pride in his work. We only wish he were closer so we could get more work done by him!
